Introducing the 'Live This Day' Photo Incentive Program!

You may have noticed that we have been away from social media for a bit. This absence was for a few different reasons…we’re a small company who takes pride in running our accounts our way. We love social media for a ton of reasons, but as a brand, find it challenging to ensure we deliver authentic and relatable content and we wanted to reassess what that means in a world where the 'social', in social media doesn't always mean what we'd like it to.

As we evaluated the current state of ‘influencer culture’ and living digital lives instead of real lives, we decided to do a brand digital detox late summer/early fall and start to focus entirely on truly 'living this day' with our friends and family. We wanted to focus our efforts on how we could bring that real ‘social’ feeling even more to Nine Five LTD. We chose to simply ‘be’ and live with eyes wide open, not worrying about capturing photos to post on social media.

But as we explored more, we also realized how much we love getting to post images of the Nine Five LTD community doing good around the world on our pages and not staged ‘influencer’ images meant simply to get people to buy things.  We’ve always hoped when you see our products and engage with our company, you feel the love, passion, and real people behind it, and not just the design and aesthetic (which of course we want you to love as well!)

After this absence, it got us thinking... truly, all of our favorite photos we’ve ever posted on @NineFiveLTD are our customers traversing the globe, playing live music, going to sporting events, and simply ‘living’ each day to the fullest. And our favorite days are when we hear directly from each of you and are always so humbled to see that our gear gets to be the hat or hoodie of choice on your adventures and simple everyday moments.
